A year of direct impact, deeper listening, and stronger foundations for 2026

As we close the chapter on 2025, Children for Life (CFL) reflects on a year marked by practical support for vulnerable children and families and a renewed commitment to building sustainable partnerships that protect children’s rights and wellbeing.

Our mission:

CFL works to ensure that children, regardless of gender or circumstance, can access essentials that enable them to thrive, including health, nutrition, protection, education, water, and sanitation. Our work is grounded in dignity, safety, and long-term resilience.

2025 at a glance

During the 2025 reporting period (1 January to 31 July 2025), CFL strengthened its support to education and family resilience, building on the foundation laid in 2024. Our activities in this period were primarily supported through founder contributions, while we also prepared for broader fundraising and partnerships.

Key highlights in 2025

• Expanded provision of solar lights and toilets, improving safety, dignity, and study conditions for children at home.

  
  

• Increased support for school fees, helping more children stay in school and remain focused on learning.

  
  

• Strengthened CFL’s visibility and partnerships in preparation for 2026 fundraising.

 

A story of change: Sally’s household

One of the year’s most meaningful reflections comes from Sally, a widow raising five children. CFL supported her household with a solar lighting system and safe, hygienic toilets. Listening deeper: orphanage field assessments (November 2025)

 In late November 2025, CFL conducted two self-funded orphanage assessment visits to understand conditions, document priority needs better, and identify opportunities for responsible partnership and support. Looking ahead to 2026.

CFL is entering 2026 with momentum and clarity. In 2026, we plan to launch formal fundraising campaigns to expand our reach and build on the foundation established during our initial years. Our focus will remain on child protection and wellbeing, keeping children in school, and strengthening safe home and care environments through practical, evidence-informed support.
